Based
out of Clarkston, MI, the Flying Rhino Cycling Club was
founded as a 15 member bicycling racing team in 1982 and has grown
into a diverse group of over two hundred fitness-minded women and
men of all ages. To attain our goal of encouraging
and helping facilitate participation in the sport of cycling on
any and every level the Club offers many different events
and activities to any and every rider.
Mountain
bike and road bike touring, ultra-marthoning, mountain bike racing,
road racing, and multi-sport race. You name it someone in the Club
probably has done it or is doing it now.
We
would be amiss if we did not mention a word or two about our main
sponsor, Kinetic Systems Bicycles. KSB specializes
in quality mountain bike and road bike frames (like Serotta, Trek,
Bianchi, Specialized), clothing (featuring Pearl Izumi), any cycling
accessory you could ever want or need. Besides selling you a bike,
KSB's expert staff will ensure proper bicycle fit - a must
when you purchase any bicycle! KSB is located on 60 S.
Main St. in downtown Clarkston, Michigan and can be reached at (248)-625-7000/7001.
We
realized quite early, too, that if it's too hard, it's not fun;
if it's too easy, it's boring, so to keep riders coming back to
those activites, we had to make them challenging yet fun to attend.
