The Rhinos are home to one of the largest cross teams in Michigan. Our cross team welcomes all abilities from cat 5 to elite with many rhinos competing in the masters, junior and single speed category.
The F.R.C.C. cross team prides itself on having FUN, training and racing together as a team. Are you looking for a team atmosphere, with some seasoned cross racers to help you? Then the F.R.C.C. is the team for you.
The Rhinos support local Michigan cross racing. During the 2013 cross season we raced the TailwindRacing

Women Single Speed, Anne Schwartz, Gold Medal, State Champion.
We also travel out of state and support the U.C.I. races in Ohio, and Kentucky.
The F.R.C.C. offers many group training rides. With cross in mind, the Thursday night gravel road ride starts Thursday April 3, 2014 at 6:00pm out of Kinetic Systems Bike Shop
covering 34 miles of challenging rolling to hilly terrain. April through May is a stay together ride getting in some miles on the dirt, average speed 15 mph tops. In June we will start increasing the pace, by the time we hit mid July after a warm up period we will be looking to average 20 mph. The ride now becomes a drop ride. Call Kinetic Systems for details 248-625-7000, or e-mail me at email@example.com
One of the perks of being a F.R.C.C. member is being able to train with us at Waterford Hills Race Track. The track opens up on Tuesday April 1, 2014 at 5:00 pm. So put some slicks on your cross bike, or get your road bike out and join us for some great training on the road. Jeff from Kinetics runs the track with specific training starting at 6:00pm. We practice riding in a group, pace line etiquette etc. and then wrap up the night with some mini races. Every third Tuesday is time trial night with chip timing. Starting in August the cross racers move over onto the grass and we start specific cross training. We mock up a mini cross course, have mini races, work on mounting, dismounting, barrier work etc.
In late summer the F.R.C.C. along with Kinetics and Tailwind racing put on a cross clinic, and training race. Watch for details on dates and times.
