2nd Annual Memorial Day Century - 5/30/2011
A large contingent braved the distance, the heat and the railroad tracks to (mostly) enjoy a long, early season casual group ride. -
Tuesday night at the track
Every Tuesday night at Waterford Hills Raceway the Flying Rhino Cycling Club conducts training for road, touring and race riding. 5 PM folks start warming up and registration begins at 6:15 PM. Formal training begins about 6:30 and every third week the club has computer / chip time trials facilitated by Robert Linden. Cool downs begin about 8 PM and it's all for $5 a head. The club will give you one trial before the required club membership applies. -
Northwest Tour 2011
Mini Rhino invasion of the sold-out TCBA NW Tour. Joel liked it so much last year that he invited everyone to join him this year. Despite rain the first day, everyone had a grand time. -

FSA handlebars Plasma Integrated Compact
Note the carbon bars are integrated to allow the cables to run through the bars. There are grooves on the underside that are engineered for your finger tips to grab just right. The tops are flat for aerodynamic minimum wind resistance. Most fork angles are near 73 degrees so that a stem with 17 degree drop will result in the stem being horizontal (73+17=90). Also, the stem is fixed so there is no adjustment. -

Memorial Day 2010 Century Ride
What a ride! Great company, gorgeous weather, nice roads, low traffic and excellent hospitality - mid ride and post ride. And at least two century first timers. Way to go. Submitted by Rick Austin. -
