Kensington Training Ride, 9:30am, Sunday, 2-12-12
Thursday, February 9, 2012 at 9:24PM So what will December bring?............12-12-12..... That's what. I wonder what that means? Good luck I hope.
The usual fun begins at Kensington at 9:30am, some riders have been coming a little early to warm up the legs for a bit and some have gotten an extra lap in before the 9:30 start. We set a Kensington record with 15 riders last week. I think the less than winter weather has helped with the number. I actually felt a little over dressed with the sun and no strong wind. No complaint here, we live in Michigan and things can turn quickly. Hopefully the weather clipper coming thru on Friday will not impact our Sunday.
I may slightly change things up a bit during the ride this week to keep it interesting, we may even check out Island lake which usually is not well snow plowed or salted. But this year is different so we may extend one of the laps to go there.
All riders are welcome, come to ride, share the pace, conversation and Starbucks after. Mark Wolowiec FRCC Road Captain

Hi, I am new to FRCC and I am very interested in training/group rides. What pace and what is the distance of this ride on Sunday? I am assuming since the ride is listed under the 'Road Team' Blog that this is more than just a leisurely group ride, which is ok. Just don't want to be a drag. :) Thx.
