Completed waiver forms should be given to the Ride Leader before your first ride begins.

Waiver Form

Safety

All riders must wear a helmet. Earphones are not permitted.

During spring and fall, front and rear bike lights are highly recommended.

Riders must acknowledge all stop signs, yield to cars, ride two abreast whenever possible, and minimize crossing the center of the road.

There are often hills where visibility is limited and riders should stay on the right side to avoid accidents.

Logistics

Distances and difficulty will increase as the season progresses and riders become more fit.

Weekly routes will be posted prior to each ride on the FRCC Strava club and Facebook group. If you arrive a few minutes early, you can join the group photo taken before each ride.

Group rides take place on remote gravel roads. Participating riders should be self-sufficient and come prepared with a helmet, lights, water, nutrition, tools, and spare tubes or tire repair equipment.

On occassion, weather may cause us to adjust the weekly gravel ride. Any adjustments to the riding schedule will be posted on the FRCC Strava club.

Weekly ride leaders will provide any relevant instructions prior to each ride and ensure everyone gets home safely.
