Weekly rides that cover the Polly Ann Trail and surrounding dirt roads
Riding season: All four seasons.
Start time: Rides depart each Sunday at 10:00 a.m.
Meeting place: Pleasant Street Trailhead in Oxford, MI.
Guidelines: Riders must sign the club waiver before participating in the Polly Ann Trail Rides.
Routes: Posted prior to each ride on the FRCC Strava club and Facebook group.
Pace: Riders can “self-organize” in one of the groups below and ride at a pace that works best for them. Each group will gather at various points along the route to ensure every rider returns safely to our meeting place.
Polly Ann Trail Group “A” ride is a medium to quick pace
Group A will average 15 to 17 mph for roughly 30 miles on Polly Ann Trail and surrounding gravel roads. Note: This ride starts at 10:30 a.m. and interested riders should contact Derek Anderson for more information.
Polly Ann Trail Group “B” ride is a social pace
Group B will ride at a social pace and riders can select a distance and pace that works best for them. Routes of 16, 20, or 30 miles out and back on the Polly Ann Trail make this a great group for riders of all fitness levels.
Logistics: On occassion, weather may cause us to adjust the weekly trail ride. Any adjustments will be posted on the FRCC Strava club. After the ride, riders will gather at White Pine Coffee Roasters for coffee & treats.
